It is important that your Google Chrome browser is updated to the latest version.

Google Chrome generally updates automatically in the background as long as the browser is closed from time to time. If your Chrome needs to be updated, you will see either an Orange or a Red notification in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Instructions

If your Chrome has not updated itself, follow the steps below to manually update it.

Step 1: Open your Google Chrome browser.

Step 2: Click on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner.

Step 3: From the drop-down menu that appears, click on the “settings” option.

Step 4: After clicking on the setting option, you will be redirected to the chrome settings page. On the left-hand side of the page, click on the “About Chrome” option.

Step 5: Your page will then change to the About Chrome page. Here you will be able to see if your Chrome browser needs to be updated or not.

In the picture below, you will see a message stating that this chrome browser is up to date. If your browser was not up to date, there would be an option to update it now in place of the “Chrome is up to date” message.

Outcome

After following the instructions above, you will have successfully updated your Googe Chrome. Congratulations!
