What to do if you get a 403 message when trying to log in to the Online Campus or Learner Portal

At times, when you are trying to log in to the Online Campus or Learner Portal, you might get a 403 error. Luckily, this is an easy fix. This article provides the steps involved in solving this issue.

Solution

Step 1: Please check that you are logged into your correct Chrome profile by clicking on the profile circle at the top-right of your Chrome browser.

You should be logged into you UCT Online High School profile linked to your school email address (e.g. slgkn001@valentureonline.com).

Step 2: If you are not logged in to your UCT Online High School profile, select it under ‘Other profiles’.

OR

If you are not logged in to your UCT Online High School profile, but you do not see it listed under ‘Other profiles’, follow the instructions outlined in this article on setting up your Google Chrome profile. Thereafter, follow the steps in this article.

Outcome

Once you have followed the steps outlined above, you should be able to log in to the Online Campus or Learner Portal without any issues.
