After your learner is enrolled at UCT Online High School, guardians are given access to the Guardian Portal, which has several different features and functions that you can use to keep informed about your learner’s academic progress and performance. In order to adequately support your child’s educational journey, we need you to work with us in monitoring and guiding your learner.
Read the steps outlined below on how to log in to and orient yourself in the Guardian Portal.
Instructions
Step 1: Click on this link (or type https://portal.uctonlinehighschool.com in your browser’s address bar) to be directed to the UCT Online High School Portal login page. Bookmark this page for easy access. Please note that some features, including the Pre-Registration Form, cannot be accessed via the ConnectED Mobile App and require a desktop or laptop computer.
Step 2: Under ‘Applicants and Guardians’, enter your email address (the email address with which you started the application process at UCT Online High School) and password, and select ‘Login’. If you cannot remember your password, click on ‘Forgot Password?’.
Step 3: You will now be logged in to the Guardian Portal and directed to the Guardian Mission Control.
Step 4: To get in touch with one of our UCT Online High School departments, click on ‘Contact Us’ in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 5: Click on the ‘Resources’ tab to get access to resources available on the portal such as handbooks, policies and other useful links.

Step 6: Click on your learner(s) name(s) to get an insight into their academic progress and performance for each subject. Here, you will be able to check weekly assessments due, a weekly summary, the internal exams and tests schedule, academic reports (when available), and your learner’s Support Coach details.
Step 7: To get access to other features and resources, such as links to the UCT Online High School Info Hub, click on ‘My Community’.
